Veterans and friends gathered at Dixie to celebrate Memorial Day.Fluvanna County residents gathered at Dixie Monday (May 28) to celebrate past, present and future veterans. Services started with the Knights of Columbus Assembly 2518 followed by Boy Scout Troop 138 leading the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance. The Knights then lead the gathering in the Star Spangled Banner.  Add a comment

In response to budget cutbacks in Fluvanna, Jaunt has cut back on some services.

“JAUNT remains a public transportation service that is available to Fluvanna County residents,” said Donna Shaunesey, executive director, “We started by mapping out the needs of our current passengers and then looked at how we could keep other service options that would have value to the Fluvanna community.”
