The two men who robbed the Columbia Corner Market in the town of Columbia in Fluvanna County carried black handguns and tried to disguise themselves, according to authorities.
The store was robbed around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 10) and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. No one was injured.
Fluvanna Sheriff Ryant Washington issued the following description of the robbers:
Suspect #1: A black male wearing a dark grey coat with black leather sleeves with a light grey hood on and a baseball cap underneath. He also was wearing faded denim blue jeans and dark boots or shoes.
Suspect #2: A black male wearing a red bandana on his head and around his face. He was wearing a black leather vest with a square pattern on rear shoulders. He also was wearing dark pants and tan work boots.
Washington said the suspects’ vehicle is “possibly an older model dark-colored two-door sedan with a blue colored border around the rear license plate.”
